Resort View Rooms overlook the lush tropical gardens of the resort or the surrounding hillside vegetation. These rooms are spacious and boast the full range of modern amenities. Rooms are dramatic and striking, with dark wood furniture, white walls and slate-tiled bathrooms.
Some of the Resort View accommodations are at ground floor level making them more easily accessible to guests with mobility issues or young children, and some may even offer a private outdoor Jacuzzi.
On average a Resort View Room is (29 – 33) square meters or (310 – 353) square feet.
Bedrooms have luxurious king-size pillow-top beds designed to provide you with the most comfortable rest possible. A few twin bedded rooms offer two single beds should you require them. Boudreau Restaurant:
A French Colonial style fine dining restaurant with a classical continental menu. Named after Walter Boudreau, the legendary schooner captain who first sailed into the bay and built the first hotel fifty years ago, the restaurant is elegant with Boudreau memorabilia and historical pictures. Serves breakfast and dinner, with a maximum seating capacity of 80.
Hurricane Hole Restaurant & Bar:
This original bar, famous among yachtspersons worldwide for over a century, still have all the original harbour lights, barrels and signage renovated and retained. Enjoy the warm tropical breezes whilst overlooking some of the most beautiful yachts in the world. Who knows you may be able to do a little celebrity spotting as well. It’s also the place to mix and mingle with the captains and crews of these yachts while they’re enjoying some much needed down time between charters, in addition to the swanky guests these yachts attract. You can really feel part of the Caribbean yachting set. This outlet also serves lunch and light snacks throughout the afternoon and evening.
Rowley & Caribbean Caf
Bay side caf dinning offering a variety of casual dining options including thin crust Italian pizzas, sandwiches, fresh garden salads, home made Italian ice-cream and a large selection of freshly baked pastries.
Pink Snail Bar:
A champagne bar, themed around the original Dr. Doolittle Movie which was filmed right here forty years ago. Featuring a pink glass and resin bar, feature lighting by Sharon Marston and cutting edge, big city design.

Swimming Pools:
There are two pools, an infinity edge by the Hurricane Hole bar and a lagoon pool with island bar in the centre of the hotel rooms. There is also a dedicated kid’s pool.
Labas Beach:
A couple of hundred yards across the bay from the hotel is the palm fringed Labas Beach with a continual complimentary ferry service from 7am dedicated to hotel guests. Sun-beds, umbrellas, towels and water along with permanent presence of Discovery staff is available for guests along with a selection of non-motorised water sports.

Deep sea sports fishing (boats available from the marina)
Enjoy sport fishing at it’s best. You don’t have to be a professional to have fun as the experienced crew will be happy to show you the ropes, and make a pro out of you. Experienced anglers can come and enjoy the thrill of new fishing grounds and catch some of the most commonly hooked fish which includes Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish and Dorado.

Whale & Dolphin watching
St. Lucia has its fair share of resident and visiting cetaceans look out for pods of Spinning, Spotted Dolphins, Pilot, Sperm and Orcas whales. These are only some of the mammals which may be seen in our waters. Enjoy the exhilarating natural experience and feel the thrill in the search for some of the world’s greatest mammals. The boats are hydrophone-equipped which allows for the opportunity to relish the rhythmic sounds of these intelligent mammals.

Marina Docks:
The Marina docks are situated right in front of the Discovery resort which means guests of the resort have a front row seat for viewing these beautiful sailing and cruising craft, many of which are privately owned.
The bay has also attracted a number of yacht-based celebrity visitors. Nicolas Cage, Oprah Winfrey, John Malkovich, Eddie Murphy and Morgan Freeman are just a few of the A-listers to have cruised into Marigot. In fact, Cage was so impressed with what he saw that he tried to purchase a waterfront home in the bay complete with private jetty for his motor yacht.
Kid’s Club:
The Kid’s Club has a wide range of activities planned to keep children happy and occupied whilst the parents relax. The daily program may be adapted to meet the specific request of children or parents whilst still offering supervised activities, events and meals for children of 5yrs to 12 yrs of age. This club is opened from 10am to 5pm each day.
